My Podcast Debut

Yes. It’s true. Someone was crazy enough to ask me to discuss topics on a podcast. And here it is.

Thanks to Jimmy Moore, the hardworking low-carber at Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb, for having me on the show.

I was so nervous at first, which is funny because there was no audience looking at me or even listening while we were recording it. I felt like the whole time I was giving my personal story I was having an out-of-body experience. And who knew I was such a smacker! You can hear me nervously smacking between my comments. Oy vey. This is why I’m a writer, I get to compose my thoughts and edit them, and you don’t get to hear all the noises I make while I do it. But then I warmed up and had fun.

We talked about the recent listeria outbreak with cantaloupes and what it means about our food supply. Then we discussed how the public demands healthier options from fast food restaurants and then never actually buys them.

It’s been the highlight of this past year to meet so many wonderful people in the Paleo, Primal, Ancestral Health, and low-carb communities. I’m honored to be a part of it.

And thanks to everyone reading this. It really means a lot to me that you stop by to read my little blog. If you have a half hour this weekend, give a listen to the podcast and let me know what you think.

  2. I agree with Jimmy. You were great. It’s not easy being sharp and concise- live.
I hope to hear you elsewhere.
