Whole30: 10

Not a lot to report today. This is starting to feel like normal life.

Still no exercise. I’ve had a hectic few days, which is not offered as way of excuse, because there’s no such thing as a good excuse. But it is a good way for me to notice a pattern in preparation to break it. Tomorrow is my weekly playground workout, so I’ll be getting an ass whooping.

Breakfast: Breakfast steak (cooked in lard), 2 eggs over hard (cooked in avocado oil), and 1/2 avocado with salsa. Coffee with coconut milk and cinnamon.

Lunch: Handful of cashews, big bowl of leftover veggie soup, 1 small piece leftover breakfast steak.

Dinner: Spaghetti Squash Bolognese (recipe posting soon). Ground buffalo and veggies cooked in lard, simmered in tomato paste and beef broth until reduced. Served on spaghetti squash tossed with olive oil.

  2. I’m on day 11 today and finally feel like I’ve gotten in the groove of things…did you see the post today at Whole 9 about including clarified butter and ghee on the Whole 30? I would love to know if you are going to add it at this point or stick out the rest without the dairy?
